Rocky Gudim
Rocky Gudim is the Founder and CEO of GH Construction. He leads the company with a focus on craftsmanship, clear communication, strong team culture, and a premium remodeling experience from first conversation to final walkthrough.
Rocky’s foundation in construction started early, working alongside his grandfather and learning the value of hard work, quality, and doing things the right way. He later served nine years in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed the discipline, leadership, and mission-focused mindset that still shape how he leads today.
With experience across construction, business development, sales, customer service, and leadership, Rocky helps homeowners turn ideas into a clear project vision. He works closely with clients and the GH Construction team to set expectations, solve challenges, and make the remodeling process feel informed, supported, and organized.
One of Rocky’s greatest passions is helping people reach their full potential. Whether he is mentoring team members, supporting client goals, or watching the GH Construction team exceed expectations, he takes pride in creating results and experiences people remember long after the project is complete.
Melinda Gudim
Melinda brings movement, discipline, and an eye for detail to every space she touches. As co-owner of GH Construction and founder of Melinda by Design, she leads the design side of each project while helping oversee the financial operations that keep everything grounded behind the scenes.
Her work is shaped by luxury coastal living, high-end residential remodeling, and a deep respect for how people actually live in their homes. With experience across residential remodeling, construction management, interior design, and business operations, Melinda bridges the gap between beautiful ideas and buildable reality.
Before design, Melinda was a ballerina, which shows in the way she approaches interiors: balance, flow, rhythm, and precision all matter. She helps clients move through the remodeling process with clarity, from early design concepts and finish selections to coordination with the construction team.
Melinda also has a passion for preserving historic homes and is currently restoring an 1893 home built by the founder of Rockport’s local newspaper. She loves blending timeless architectural character with modern comfort, drawing inspiration from the coastal communities she calls home.
Rocco
Rocco serves as GH Construction’s Chief Morale Officer, Quality Control Sniffer, and four-legged brand ambassador. While he does not technically hold a contractor’s license, he takes his role seriously and believes every project should meet high standards of comfort, craftsmanship, and nap-worthiness.
With over 7 dog years of experience, Rocco has supervised countless remodels, inspected jobsite lunches, and participated in many tail-wagging client relations meetings. His specialty is low-level inspections, warm customer greetings, and determining whether a project has “good bones.”
Rocco helps make the GH Construction experience feel relaxed, welcoming, and memorable. He reminds the team that great work takes patience, attention to detail, and the occasional snack break.
He may have short legs, but he carries himself like the CEO of a Fortune 500 company. As a proud Basset Hound, Rocco has strong opinions about craftsmanship, stronger opinions about treats, and absolutely no sense of urgency.
Laura Rodriguez
Laura is the Executive Business Administrator at GH Construction, supporting company leadership by keeping operations, internal processes, and team resources organized. She helps create the structure behind the scenes so projects, people, and communication can move more efficiently.
With over 10 years of experience in business administration, operations management, project support, and organizational leadership, Laura brings a steady, systems-focused approach to the team. Her work centers on improving workflows, supporting leadership, and making sure the team has the information and tools needed to deliver a strong client experience.While much of her role happens behind the scenes, Laura’s impact shows up in smoother operations, clearer processes, and better support for every project. She enjoys finding solutions, bringing order to complex situations, and helping people succeed by making their work easier and more efficient.
Sai Hotung
Sai leads digital marketing, sales, and brand identity development at GH Construction. She focuses on finding the right clients, understanding what they care about, and creating content that highlights the quality, craftsmanship, and experience behind each custom build.
With 10 years of experience across sales, operations, design, front-end web development, research, analytics, and consumer behavior, Sai brings a mix of creative strategy and data-driven thinking to the team.
Of Mexican, Chinese, and Irish descent, Sai brings a multicultural lens to communication and branding. Outside of work, she is a vocalist and former college rugby player, equally comfortable projecting her voice and taking a hit when needed.
Ted Cortez
Ted keeps the field side of GH Construction moving with clear communication, strong coordination, and practical problem-solving. He manages contractor and client communication, project scheduling, field workflows, safety and quality processes, construction documentation, SOPs, meeting agendas, reports, escalation management, and day-to-day operational planning.
With 20 years of residential construction and home building experience, Ted brings a deep understanding of how projects come together in the real world. His background also includes operations leadership with major retailers such as Home Depot and Tractor Supply, giving him a strong foundation in team management, production planning, and process improvement.
Ted specializes in residential construction operations, trade sequencing, contractor coordination, troubleshooting, inspections, quality control, and client-facing project communication. He helps clients understand what is happening throughout the building process, sets clear expectations, addresses concerns, coordinates with contractors, and keeps projects moving forward.
Originally from the coast, Ted is an avid fisherman, which makes sense for someone who knows the value of patience, timing, and knowing exactly when to reel things in.
Lú Torres
Lú helps keep things moving behind the scenes at GH Construction, from client communication and lead coordination to daily admin support. She is often one of the first people clients connect with, helping them get started and making sure they reach the right person on the team.
Before joining GH Construction, Lú taught elementary, middle school, and university students, so patience, clear communication, and organized chaos are already part of her toolkit. And yes, dealing with parents absolutely counts.
Outside of work, Lú enjoys spending time with family, helping others, and learning new things.
Brandy Dorsett
Brandy keeps the gears turning at GH Construction, making sure projects, communication, and internal systems stay organized from start to finish. With over 3 years in construction administration and 15+ years in operations, accounting, and project coordination, she brings serious behind-the-scenes control to the client experience.
Her focus is creating smoother processes, improving communication, and keeping projects on track. She helps clients feel informed with clear updates, steady coordination, and a project experience that feels less chaotic and more handled.
Brandy enjoys solving problems and finding smarter, more efficient ways to get things done.
